“We are delighted to welcome Chef Keegan to the Plaza Athénée family,” said General Manager David Cohen. “He brings a unique blend of skills, experience and personality that guests will be able to taste through his wonderful dishes.”

A native of Queens, New York, Chef Keegan found his calling to cuisine early on in life, working in New York City restaurants at the early age of 15. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1997, Keegan spent the next 20 years working in various restaurants, private clubs and hotels.

Most recently, Keegan opened Jagerhaus, a German bistro and beer garden in Flushing, NY. Chef Keegan and his team were honored when selected as host restaurant of the 2017 German- American Steuben Parade, an event that celebrates three centuries of German-American friendship with authentic food, music and entertainment.

“I am very excited and looking forward to the opportunity to continue to share my passion for flavorful cuisine at Hôtel Plaza Athénée,” says Chef Keegan. “I look forward to creating an unforgettable dining experience for each guest.”
