Following an extensive Trust Index® survey with over 310,000 respondents across 1,000 employers in the region, Hyatt is voted as one of the 10 Best Multinational Workplaces in Greater China for the third consecutive year.
“This award is a great recognition for what we believe in – our people-focused culture,” said Katie Carter, Vice President Human Resources, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Asia Pacific. “We strive to bring a sense of purpose to life at Hyatt where people can find meaning in their work. It is for this reason that we are focused on caring for our guests, colleagues, owners and community members in ways that each and every one can be fulfilled, engaged and ready to take on the world. We want everyone to experience Hyatt in their own unique, authentic and genuine way and so we build our culture around our people. We believe this is what makes Hyatt a great place to work and we are honored that our colleagues in Greater China agree.”
As one of the largest companies surveyed, Hyatt has a total of 36 operating hotels and 8 hotels in pre-opening stage in Greater China (Taipei, Macau, Hong Kong and all other cities in China).
One Hyatt colleague surveyed shared, “I’ve had the opportunity to work with visionary leaders who care about my opinions and value my work. Being empowered to overcome any challenge, along with working with such a wonderful team, has allowed my confidence and sense of achievement to grow each day.”
The 10 Best Multinational Workplaces is part of the annual Great Place to Work® global research which recently crowned Hyatt as one of China’s best multinational workplaces to work for. This year sees the region’s strong participation, with over 310,000 respondents surveyed representing 1,000 employers.
