Ibis Perth wins WA AHA Accommodation Accolade

Accor’s economy hotel, ibis Perth, was honoured among Western Australia’s finest accommodation and hospitality professionals at the 2014 AHA WA Accommodation Industry Awards, held on Tuesday 12 August.

Ibis Perth was honoured to take home the AHS Hospitality-sponsored award for ‘Best Mid-Range Accommodation’ in recognition of the hotel’s high service standards and professionalism.

Accor is also proud of WA-based Learning & Development Manager for its training academy, Academie Accor, Eve Ahearn who was a finalist in the Human Resources Management Employee award category.

General Manager of ibis Perth, Lee Pearce, said “We are thrilled that ibis Perth is acknowledged for its contribution to WA’s tourism and hotel accommodation sector. We have a great hotel team and this award is testament to our dedication to great customer service and hospitality, it just goes to show that affordable accommodation can be rewarded with the rest.”

AHA (WA) CEO, Bradley Woods said, “The awards recognise the high service standards and professionalism in WA and celebrate the dedication of industry professionals across a range of areas.”
