IKEA announced today that its first store in Macau, to be located in Taipa, is set to open in 2020 Q1, allowing Macau consumers to experience IKEA’s inspirational range of products and enjoy the benefits of its online shopping service, with delivery & pick up options.

Adrian Worth, Managing Director of Dairy Farm Group IKEA North Asia, said, ‘Marking a major milestone in IKEA’s long-term commitment to Macau, the new IKEA store will offer well-designed, affordable and practical home furnishing solutions to Macau consumers. With an area of 90,000 square feet, the new store will provide a comprehensive shopping experience for the whole family, featuring inspirational showrooms, an IKEA Café, Swedish Food Market and more. IKEA will organise Recruitment Days at Ngai Chon Center of General Union of Neighbourhood Associations between November 8 to 10, and will recruit nearly 100 co-workers that have expertise in sales, customer relations, logistics, catering, operations management, communications and interior design.
