ONYX Hospitality Group invites you to engage your senses and expand your mind with Bangkok’s impressive collection of interactive art exhibitions. From the latest multimedia showcase, Italian Renaissance, to Museum Siam’s permanent exhibition, Decoding Thainess, Bangkok’s thriving art scene is an unmissable experience that can be easily accessed from nearby Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok and Shama Lakeview Asoke, the perfect places from which to explore.

Italian Renaissance, which debuts today at River City Bangkok after the highly successful From Monet to Kandinsky exhibition, features work from four extraordinary artists – Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Botticelli. The immersive experience, a first of its kind in Asia, is brought to life through HD projections, animated graphics and music to engage all the senses with an exploration of the famed artists’ legacies. After exploring the Renaissance step back into the energy of River City Bangkok’s nearby cafes and restaurants that sit along the water’s edge or cruise the Chao Phraya River for an enviable view of ancient temples and the Grand Palace.

Museum Siam’s Decoding Thainess, an examination of Thai culture and its ongoing evolution, also uses technology to elevate its storytelling. Conveniently accessed via the MRT underground train’s newest link to the old town of Bangkok, the interactive exhibition explores what it means to be Thai in the broad context of history, politics, pop culture, food, popular beliefs and more. With hands-on displays that are both entertaining and educational, Decoding Thainess gives visitors an opportunity to truly understand the culture of the country in which they are in.

Italian Renaissance is showing at RCB Galleria on the 2nd floor of River City Bangkok from 8 August to 31 October 2019. Purchase tickets via ZipEventApp using code ONYXGUEST to enjoy discounts.

Decoding Thainess is now showing at Museum Siam, open Tuesday – Sunday, 10 A.M. – 6 P.M. Tickets can be purchased on arrival, or visit after 4pm to experience the exhibit for free.
