Geoffrey Kent is Abercrombie & Kent’s Founder, CEO and Chairman. He has personally planned this expedition and accompanies the group of 20 guests throughout. Access into Finland and out of Norway is by private jet, eliminating the hassles and uncertainty of commercial air travel, replacing it with elegance and ease.

The expedition commences in London with a privileged evening at Windsor Castle then travels by private jet into the Arctic Circle in northern Finland where a remote wilderness lodge is being reconfigured to deliver luxury chalet accommodation, where each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and sauna as well as a private aurora observation dome for viewing the incredible light display.

Other high-octane excitements include rally car racing on a purpose built ice track, snowmobile safaris, dogsledding and reindeer sleigh outings with extraordinary picnics, lessons in winter survival skills, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and more. There is a rare and privileged interaction with Sami nomads, shamans and their reindeer herds and guest lecturers to share their expertise on the Aurora Borealis, the Arctic environment and Sami anthropology.
