India & Beyond 2017-18 Brochure Hits Markets

RECENTLY launched brand India & Beyond by destination specialist Beyond Travel, has released its inaugural brochure for 2017-2018 specialising in private touring options in India and Sri Lanka.

The brochure features a comprehensive selection of private tours, first-class river cruises, a luxury rail journey, pre and post land packages for cruise and rail products, an escorted tour around India as well as product from Sri Lanka.

General manager, sales and marketing Bryce Crampton said the brochure focuses on private touring due to the changing preferences of travellers looking for India product and that consumers are becoming more aware of the economic benefits of this type of travel.

He said that “this preference was showing up in our bookings for other destinations featured by Beyond Travel so we’ve emphasised it in our new India brochure.

“Consumers have shown a great liking for the inclusive private itineraries”, he added.

“There is a general greater awareness in the Australian markets of the ease and comfort of travelling privately in India and Sri Lanka. Our services include a private car and driver which allows greater flexibility and at the same time a security in knowing there is a professional taking care of the travel logistics”.

He said that feedback from agents and guidance from reputable destination ground operators is that many customers are still travelling to India to tick the bucket list well-known sights, but there is a growing number travellers also looking for an alternative to cities and monuments and are attracted by India’s wildlife in wonderful National Parks, the beautiful waterways of Kerala, beach resort areas around Goa and the east coast resorts south of Chennai.

All private tours are available with three styles of accommodation- four star, five star and luxury or heritage, with many of the high-end properties being renovated palaces or forts offering a historical stay in complete luxury. Other aspects of the tour vary slightly depending on the level of accommodation or the standard of vehicles for the luxury or heritage packages.

There are Early Bird Discounts of up to $400 per couple on all private tours with many of them also offering ‘Bonus Extras’ which include a free room upgrade at one hotel in India, free bottle of wine at one hotel on every five star or luxury private tour, 15% discount on food, drinks and spa treatments at one hotel and complimentary WIFI at all hotels on private tours.
