G Adventures has experienced great growth in travellers to India during 2016, with bookings increasing 10 per cent during 2016.
Some of this growth is attributable to G Adventures’ recent G-Normous incentive promotion that saw agent partners vying for a place on a trip of a lifetime to India
Five agents representing the top sellers of G Adventures’ product were rewarded with flights and a place on the National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures North India Highlights Tour.
The agents have just returned from the eight-day India trip, more inspired than ever to sell Indian product to their customers.
The tour, introduced agents to the beauty of India and included exploring the Taj Mahal, walking the streets of Delhi with a local young adult in the G Adventures-supported New Delhi Streetkids Project, and spending a night in a traditional village home.
Global Purpose Specialist (GPS) for Victoria, Steph Beard, accompanied the agents and said the level of enthusiasm on the trip was contagious.
“Every single agent was so excited to get out there and experience all that India has to offer.”
Agents said the highlight of the trip was getting to the Taj Mahal at sunrise for unspoilt pictures of the cultural icon.
Lucy De Loryn, from Helloworld Belgrave, said the CEO (Chief Experience Officer, or Tour Guide) ensured the group had a memorable, informative and safe trip and his knowledge and passion for India and its history and culture was second to none.
