Following the soft launch of the Macau International Clubbing Show (MICS Macau) this year, Reed Exhibitions Greater China, a leading trade event organizer, is set to host the inaugural edition of the event from 18 – 20 May 2016 at the Venetian Macao. MICS Macau will be the first trade show in Asia with a dedicated focus on the nightlife and entertainment industry.
In 2016, MICS Macau will showcase the latest in entertainment and event management products and trends such as lighting, pro-audio equipment, beverages, bar equipment, design, decor, hospitality solutions, and more. Visitors to the show will be the movers & shakers, decision makers, owners and representatives of nightclubs, bars, pubs, hotels, restaurants and cafes.
As the Asian nightlife industry continues to evolve, rises in visitor spending have triggered entertainment growth across the region, making now the right time, and Macau, the right place to develop a winning show with a unique format that ensures the most cost-effective business networking and branding exposure in the industry. Through its powerful mix of professional trade show, speed dating match-making by day and a DJ festival at night, MICS Macau offers just that.
Additionally, at the event, winners of the first Asian Club and Bar Awards will be unveiled and honored, recognizing the continent’s outstanding clubs and bars that are proponents of best practices.
According to Josephine Lee, Senior VP of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, “MICS Macau is a real eye-opener for nightlife industry businesses that want to offer customers a whole new experience and develop exciting new ways to keep them coming back. If expanding market share in the growing Asian nightlife industry is a target, then MICS Macau is essential, thanks to its combination of powerful networking opportunities with cost-effective marketing and branding options.”
MICS Macau will be a collaborative effort between Reed Exhibitions and MICS Monaco, the experienced organizer of the renowned Monaco International Clubbing Show. Over 10,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors from 30 countries/regions joined the last edition of the European clubbing event.
With its upcoming debut in May 2016, MICS Macau is set to be a game-changer for the Asian nightlife and entertainment industry. This is one show that growth-focused entertainment businesses in Asia cannot afford to miss.
