In a first for Australian radio, a partnership between Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania, Outrigger Resorts and Jetstar will see the cast of Triple M Radio’s Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne breakfast radio teams broadcast live from Hawai’i across 9th-13th October.

Triple M Sydney’s The Grill Team, Triple M Brisbane’s Marto, Ed & Robin and Triple M Melbourne’s The Hot Breakfast will jet set to Hawai‘i, and broadcast live for a week.

Australian Country Manager for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO), Kerri Anderson, said that the partnership was the perfect opportunity to broadcast the spirit of Aloha across Australia’s Eastern seaboard.

“Australians love Hawai’i, and this partnership is a great way to fill Australia’s airwaves with Aloha, while showcasing the beauty and diversity of the Hawaiian Islands.

“Triple M’s breakfast teams are great ambassadors of Aloha, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to Hawai‘i for what will no doubt be an unforgettable week of broadcast.”

Head of Promotions for the Triple M Network Janella Pash said that the Triple M teams were thrilled about the partnership.

“Triple M are very excited to partner with Hawaii Tourism, Outrigger Resorts and Jetstar to fly our listeners to experience Hawaii with Triple M’s Hot Breakfast, The Grill Team and Marto, Ed & Robin.

“Triple M will be involved in activities throughout the islands of Hawaii and broadcasting five live shows from Waikīkī,” she said.

Triple M will run holiday competitions in each market in the lead up to the broadcast, allowing a group of lucky listeners the opportunity to join their favourite hosts in Hawai‘i.

The teams will visit a wide range of iconic attractions including Pearl Harbor, Hawai‘i Island’s active Kīlauea volcano, Haleakalā Crater on Maui, Kaua‘i’s stunning Napali Coast and the world famous Waikīkī Beach on O‘ahu.
