Inflatable companion and worse mar holiday flights

June 15, 2018 Headline News No Comments Email Email

An airline has banned a passenger because of bizarre antics with an inflatable companion, while another passenger has tweeted his horror and dismay over the state of the lavatory on another hoiday flight.

Britain’s summer holiday flight season is in full swing and London’s Sun newspaper has highlighted some of the less-than-savoury aspects.

In one incident, a plane flying to a Spain from Belfast was forced to divert and land in France over a passenger’s “disruptive” and “aggressive” drunken behaviour with a blow-up sex doll he brought aboard with him.

French police met him at Toulouse airport, The Sun reported. Jet2 described the man’s behaviour s “disgraceful and deplorable”. He had apparently been drinking his duty free alcohol or had smuggled some aboard.

A passenger aboard the plane tweeted that the man had a blow-up doll with him.

“Nice one guys! Together with a blow up doll at 7am in front of my kids & long queues. Way to go!”

Meanwhile, a passenger has filmed what he claimed was a “disgusting Ryanair plane bathroom”, with a toilet seat, sink and mirror coated in grime and unidentified muck.

He claims cabin crew told him the toilet wasn’t their problem. A photo of the state of the loo was posted, but is too disgusting to reproduce here.

A passenger tweeted: “@Ryanair after a 4 hour delay I get on board to then find your toilets/baby changing facilities like this its absolutely disgusting!

“I mentioned this to a staff member after I come out of there and his reply was not our problem!!

“I see there [sic] customer care is not very important!!”

Sun Online Travel reported that when it questioned Ryanair, the airline replied: “All Ryanair aircraft are thoroughly cleaned by professionals at the end of each day, in line with industry standards, and cabin crew carry out a cabin tidy and toilet check at the end of every flight.”
