Inland NSW Tourism To Deliver Digital Platform

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres has today welcomed the announcement of Inland NSW Tourism’s partnership with Bauer Media Group to deliver its new digital platform ‘Travel In’.

The new program has received funding support of $832,000 over two years from the NSW Government through Destination NSW under the Regional Visitor Economy Fund.

‘Travel In’ will feature content focussing on championing regional destinations and key pillars of consumer interest in food and wine, nature, history and heritage, arts and culture and events.

“This new digital platform will help grow overnight visitation and expenditure to the State’s inland communities making it easier for people to book and research their travel,” Mr Ayres said.

“There are so many beautiful destinations to be explored across inland NSW, so I applaud this significant partnership.”

Bauer owns the extensive former ACP publishing network, including 85 titles such as Australian Women’s Weekly,Australian Geographic, Gourmet Traveller, 4X4, Caravan World and Woman’s Day.

Inland NSW CEO Graham Perry said the ‘Travel In’ program will deliver an enhanced digital experience for all travellers.

“The project aligns with our Destination Management Plan strategy, which identified the delivery of a digital solution for consumers as a key driver to increase overnight visitation expenditure,” Mr Perry said.

“We’re excited by the potential of ‘Travel In’, and are delighted by our strong partnership with Bauer.”
