Intercontinental Bali Resort Celebrates The Easter Weekend With An Extravaganza Of Food, Entertainment And Children’s Activities

Put on your Easter Bonnet and join us over the Easter weekend at Intercontinental Bali Resort for our exciting programme of food, entertainment and children’s activities, ranging from barbeques and buffets to five-course Italian dinners, and a sumptuous Easter Sunday brunch.

Easter BarbequeFrom Friday 18th April until Sunday 20th April, you will have the opportunity to savour the tantalizing flavours of our specially created Easter menus within the contrasting settings of four of the resort’s superb restaurants.

Feast on our sizzling Easter Barbeque in the casual seaside ambience of our Sunset Beach Bar, freshly prepared by our chefs daily between Midday and 8pm.  Here you can select a flavourful appetizer followed by meat and seafood from the grill served with a variety of vegetables and sauces.  Each of our packages includes the option of free flow drinks, so choose the package that best suits your palate and your budget. The food only barbeque is priced at Rp 400,000 ++ per person; or alternatively at Rp 500,000 ++ per person including two beers.

Lay back in a dreamy ‘Bale Bengong’ at Jimbaran Gardens with a spectacular night time view of the Indian Ocean, and relish an exciting ‘Surf & Turf Dinner’ with a main course of either ‘gratin half lobster and seared wagyu beef tenderloin’, or ‘seared Tasmanian salmon and herb crusted lamb rack.’  A choice of two, four-course set menus will be served daily, priced at Rp 450,000 ++ per person with the food only option; Rp 500,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks and juices; or Rp 730,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks, juices and selected cocktails and wines.

Italian Easter Dinner

For a fine-dining experience, enjoy a delectable ‘Italian Easter Dinner’ at the elegant Bella Cucina Italian Restaurant, where Chef Riccardo Ioana has created a different set menu for each evening to be served daily at the cost of Rp 500,000 ++ per person with food only; or Rp 700,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks, juices and selected cocktails and wines.

Be sure not to miss our main event, which is our Easter Sunday Brunch at Bella. This marvellous food extravaganza includes a carvery, a selection of antipasto with wonderful  cheeses, cold cuts, smoked fish and fresh oysters, a buffet of delicious appetizers, a ‘pass around’ of main dishes, and a luscious dessert station. Live musical entertainment will be provided for the occasion by our popular Batak Trio from North Sumatra who will bring a smile to everyone’s faces with their acoustic guitars and strong melodious voices. This lavish feast is priced at Rp 480,000 ++ per person for food only; Rp 730,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks and juices; or Rp 950,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks, juices and selected cocktails and wines.

Last but not least on the line-up of buffets is Taman Gita Terrace, where you can enjoy an ‘Easter Buffet Dinner’ on Friday 18th April, or a ‘Spirit of Bali’ buffet served between Midday and 8pm on Saturday 19th April accompanied by a traditional ‘Okokan’ performance, which will leave you with lasting memories of Bali’s culture of music and dance.  The dinner is priced at Rp 450,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks and juices or Rp 620,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks, juices and selected cocktails and wines. The Spirit of Bali event costs Rp 500,000 ++ per person including free flow of soft drinks and juices; or Rp 700,000 ++ per person, including free flow of soft drinks, juices and selected cocktails and wines.

If you are a parent in need of a break on Easter Sunday, we suggest that you leave your kids in the capable hands of our team at Planet Trekkers, who will be organizing some fully-supervised fun. Between 10 am and 11 am, youngsters will be kept happy with creative face painting and egg painting activities on the grass in the Alun-Alun area, followed by a scrumptious kids’ brunch at the cost of Rp 250,000 ++ per child. Then, between 11 am and 2 pm there will be a special ‘Kids Afternoon Easter Performance’ in the Saraswati lounge, priced at Rp 150,000 ++ per child.
