Silicon Valley’s Nor1, Inc. and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) have strengthened their strategic partnership with the global rollout of Nor1’s pre-arrival upsell solution, eStandby Upgrade®, making it available across the hospitality giant’s family of nine brands, over 4,600 hotels and in almost 100 countries and territories worldwide.

Expanding the collaboration with Nor1 will enable IHG, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, to resolve perishable inventory and optimize incremental revenue opportunities, as well as enhance the guest experiences at the hotel. The initial launch was centered on the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand, but the continued roll-out of Nor1’s eStandby solution will be made available to most IHG brands and properties around the world by the end of the year.

“We want our guests at any of our hotels to have an enhanced experience and feel connected to our brands before they even arrive. Partnering with Nor1 allows us to engage our guests, as individuals, by offering upgrades and services that will enhance their stay,” said Michael Menis, Senior Vice President, Digital and Voice Channels, IHG.

“We are pleased to be working with IHG, one of the greatest hospitality brands in the world. This agreement underscores our mutual drive and focus on bringing innovation and customer satisfaction to the front desks of hotels worldwide,” commented Jason Bryant, Founder and co-CEO of Nor1, Inc. “With eStandby, IHG can differentiate each property through custom offers and award upgrades to customers eager to have a better experience.”
