Intercontinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort Voted Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort in Travel Industry ‘Oscars’

InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, the ‘Grand Dame’ of luxury resorts on the idyllic Thai island of Koh Samui, received 3 accolades at the prestigious 2013 World Travel Awards:
Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort, Asia Leading Honeymoon Resort, Thailand’s Leading Resort.

The accolade continues a winning streak for the award-winning lifestyle resort following its stellar performance at last year’s ceremony. At the 2012 World Travel Awards (WTA) in Asia, the resort secured the title of both Thailand’s Leading Beach Resort, as well as Thailand’s Leading New Resort.

WTA, revered as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry’, awards the industry’s greatest contributors as voted by travel agents worldwide.The most prestigious awards programme in travel celebrates its 20th anniversary this year as the ultimate travel accolades celebrating brands that push the boundaries of industry excellence with highest possible standards.
