AUSTRALIAN owned International Rail has just launched another product under its successful International Transfer brand- “Daytrip”, designed with loyal agents in mind, who were looking for options for their independent clients moving between cities in comfort and ease with strong local support, said managing director Jonathan Hume.

This system compliments it’s highly successful partnership with Mozio, the technology is very simple to use enabling agents to book itineraries online in real time, while earning commission on every booking made.

“Daytrip” offer private transfers between cities/towns globally with optional sightseeing along the way. Agents can connect English speaking local drivers with clients to pick them up at their hotel in the morning and deliver them to their next destination. Clients can choose from a wide range of suggested sightseeing along the way or travel straight through.

Mr Hume said there has always been a void in the market for travellers who wish to travel independently but are not able to comfortably handle their luggage on local trains and find driving themselves too daunting.

“Daytrip solves this by providing a door to door service using a private vehicle and driver. The service enables travellers to stop along the journey at a large range of recommended sights that you ordinarily would not be able to see on a transfer or stop for lunch at a recommended local restaurant.”

CEO of Daytrip, Mr Tomas Turek expressed his excitement on the company’s first major partnership on the Australian continent.

He said, “International Rail is aligned with our own values- customer-focused, built from the ground up, and looking toward the future. We are confident that together we will change how Australians experience travelling abroad.”

As always, the service is supported locally by the team at International Rail in Melbourne.
