Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the addition of Residence Club at Coco Bay and Residence Club at Vista Ocotal, two shared ownership resorts in the heart of the spectacular northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

eGlobal Media-ÃÇÁ“Since we are new to the shared ownership business, we sought the expertise of Interval – the industry’s quality leader,” noted Julian Rembert, managing partner of Segovia de la Montaña Limitada and Vista Ocotal GP Limitada, development entities of the respective resorts. “We are confident that Interval’s comprehensive benefits and services will greatly assist us in meeting member and guest expectations for exceptional vacation experiences.”

Nestled on a hillside within the grounds of Coco Bay Estates, Residence Club at Coco Bay is comprised of 33 spacious units with views of landscaped gardens or Papagayo Bay. Each luxury residence features elegant décor with warm colors and stone floors and includes living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, state-of-the-art electronics, and a covered terrace.

Residence Club at Vista Ocotal is located in the coastal resort community of Playa Ocotal and has 19 studio, two- and three-bedroom units surrounded by tropical gardens. Each has a living and dining room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, tile flooring, and Wi-Fi access.

“We are pleased to welcome these outstanding resorts situated in the desirable Guanacaste area,” said Marcos Agostini, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America. “Coco Bay and Vista Ocotal are prime examples of successful conversions from whole ownership to mixed-use in the region. We believe that the addition of a timeshare component will assist the properties in realizing their full potential.”

Members at Coco Bay and Vista Ocotal have access to an array of amenities at Coco Bay Estates, an exclusive development set on 136 acres. They include a restaurant, club house, tennis and fitness center, spa services, sauna, 120-foot swimming pool, and the private Ocotal Beach Club.

Part of Costa Rica’s Gold Coast, Guanacaste has some of the country’s most spectacular natural wonders. Outdoor enthusiasts can surf off beautiful beaches, explore the waterfalls or hike to the volcano at Rincon de la Vieja National Park, dive and go deep-sea fishing in Bahia Salinas, play golf at several stunning courses in the area, and bird-watch at Palo Verde National Park.

New purchasers at Residence Club at Coco Bay and Residence Club at Vista Ocotal will become Club Interval Gold® members, entitling them to trade their week or convert it to points for maximum exchange flexibility. They also have access to a number of upgraded benefits and services that they can enjoy year-round, including discounts on Getaway vacation rentals, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® membership, Entertainment® discounts, and VIP ConciergeSM for personal assistance, 24/7.
