Introducing New Web Series, “Jonny Moseley’s Wildest Dreams”

“Jonny Moseley’s Wildest Dreams,” an action-packed outdoor adventure series hosted by freestyle skiing legend Jonny Moseley, is available for viewing today. Watch the wild unfold as the Olympic gold medalist explores California, seeking his next adrenaline rush while meeting experts, celebrities and friends who help him along the way.

“Jonny epitomizes what it means to Dream Big in California,” said Caroline Beteta, Visit California president & CEO. “His passion for adventure, and for the Golden State, shines through in this series, and his curiosity makes him seemingly fearless.”

With California’s epic natural beauty as a backdrop, each episode features Moseley attempting a new extreme sport … and he’s not always successful. Viewers can follow along as Moseley takes the road less traveled, highlighting some of California’s most off-the-beaten-path destinations.

Episodes can be viewed on Visit California’s online video hub Dream365TV, and on the organization’s YouTube channel.

Today’s launch includes two exciting episodes:

Moseley and his buddy, skateboard pro Bob Burnquist, try a new sport called flyboarding off the coast of Catalina Island. To summarize this episode in Moseley’s words, it has “all the elements dudes love: golf carts, skateboards, jet skis, surfing, flying.” If anyone can successfully ride what is essentially a jet-propelled skateboard, it’s these guys – although there may be some epic wipeouts during the learning process.

Slacklining champ Alex Mason meets up with Moseley in Lone Pine, California to give him his very first lesson in slacklining. After a few test runs, Mason may have a little too much faith in his new student, saying “Let’s put you on the high line. I mean, what could go wrong?” Battling 40 mph winds, rain and lightning, things definitely get interesting 80 feet up.

“The diversity of terrain from North to South and East to West in California is what makes this place my number one choice for outdoor adventure,” said Moseley. “This year the mountains of the Sierra Nevada received more than 50 feet of snow, making for some of the best snow sports action in the world. This same snowfall is now melting and will turn the rivers into kayaking meccas with world-class waterfalls. These changing weather cycles and diverse terrain make every adventure here unique.”

Shot by Warren Kushner of K Films in collaboration with Visit California’s brand agency MeringCarson, the series launched across four markets today – the United States, Canada, Australia and the U.K. – including full episodes and 60-second versions of both videos deployed for viewing across social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. A series teaser, which launched Thursday, May 17, is also available.

Dream365TV is an online platform and dynamic hub of inspirational video programming designed to offer awe-inspiring yet alternative perspectives on the Golden State. The digital video network is available at and is accessible globally at

More new episodes are slated to film this summer and fall, and as Moseley gears up for his next physical challenge, viewers are encouraged to offer up suggestions or words of encouragement using #JMWildestDreams.
