“Sprouts are not only nutritious, but they’re also delicious little tendrils of flavour! It’s such a quick and easy process with the sprouting jar – in only one week you’ll have beautiful fresh sprouts!” adds Anna.

The new Sprouting Jar is made from silicone, ABS plastic and high-quality stainless steel, with a large glass dome. This is a sprouting jar that you’ll be proud to show off in your kitchen! The smart ventilation integrated in the bottom of the jar ensures perfect climatic conditions for sprouting any seed, bean or grain from chickpeas to broccoli, alfalfa, radishes, mustard seeds, mung beans, beets and more.

GEFU convinced the 41-strong international expert panel in one of the world’s major product competitions: the jury awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award 2016 for high design quality to the GEFU Sprouting Jar among a total of 5,214 products from 57 nations which had been submitted for the renowned competition.

How to sprout your own seeds at home using the GEFU Sprouting Jar:

Equipment:

• GEFU Sprouting Jar

• Seeds for sprouting, washed and dried

• Water

Steps: 1. Toss the seeds briefly in water in the glass dome and strain through the sieve in the base.

2. Put the glass dome onto the base and place the sprouting jar in a well-lit place.

3. Repeat this procedure every day – and the freshly sprouted ingredients will be ready to harvest after one week.
