Iririki Island Resort & Spa Reopens After $24 Million Makeover

On Friday 6th May 2016, Iririki Island Resort & Spa, “The Jewel of the South Pacific” reopened its all new and fully refurbished South Pacific getaway island with an official Opening Ceremony featuring Honourable Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu.

The highest rated island holiday resort in Vanuatu with a 4.5 star rating, Iririki Island Resort & Spa was officially relaunched after a $24 million full makeover in the 14 months following the devastation of cyclone Pam. The major renovation project has seen upgrades to various facility offerings including new and additional accommodation options, new and renamed food and beverage outlets including Azure Restaurant and Infinity Bar and Café, the opening of the 5 star Iririki Spa and brand new Jewel Casino and entertainment complex.


All guest areas, farés and rooms have been thoughtfully considered with new furnishings, fittings and design elements, creating a contemporary oasis whilst retaining the traditional feel and charm of Vanuatu.

The redevelopment plan placed great emphasis on the environment with Iririki Island Resort & Spa now Vanuatu’s first fully solar powered resort. The resort is constantly working on initiatives daily to become more eco-friendly and preserve the stunning Vanuatu country known today.
