Island Air Redefines Online Airline Experience with Launch of New Website

Island Air has turned its newly designed website into an online destination. Launched on July 8, 2014, customers experience a simplified system for selecting and browsing flight information and vacation options.

Its website design is a visually oriented layout that is optimized for browsing on tablet and other mobile devices. The newly designed website is another improvement and all part of Island Air’s rebranding. The website’s online booking system has also been redesigned to reflect the new look and graphic feel.

Filled with breathtaking scenic photos of Hawaiʻi, the website provides guests a chance to immerse themselves in the destination before they board the plane. The website highlights top island attractions such as the Arizona Memorial on Oʻahu, Kauaʻi’s Waimea Canyon, ʻIao Valley on Maui, and Hulupoe Bay on Lāna‘i.

“The website redesign is the latest enhancement to our customer service experience,” said Island Air CEO, Paul Casey. “With each click of the mouse, our guests will get a taste of aloha during an easy to use and informative travel planning experience,” he added.

Earlier this year, Island Air announced the purchase of two new Q400 NextGen aircraft and added free Wi-Fi and free smartphone charging stations for passengers inside the gate area. Additionally, guests can continue to expect expedient check-in, shorter TSA lines and personalized service.
