Island hop along the Croatian Coast with up to 12 yachts with Sunsail’s exclusive one design flotilla
New for this European summer, Sunsail is offering a one-off flotilla week comprising exclusively of Sunsail 36i monohull yachts from Jeanneau which departs from Dubrovnik in Croatia on 8th May 2016.
The 36i is perfect for discovering the Croatian sailing area and it can, because of its size, easily navigate the small town quays and makes anchoring in spectacular bays along the Dalmatian coast effortless.
On the first day, after boarding the yacht, enjoy Dubrovnik Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval walled cities in the world. Spend the day making yourself at home amidst the Renaissance palaces and ancient citadels, exploring the labyrinth of marble paved streets to find hidden cafés and shops.
Set sail and island hop your way along the Dalmatian Coast to the emerald isle of Mljet with a stopover at Suđurađ, Šipan. Drop anchor in the picturesque bay of Mljet National Park for easy access to the park’s dense woodland and two saltwater lakes.
On day three, it’s a straight shot of blue water sailing from Polače to Lumbarda on the Eastern Cape of Korčula. This charming fisherman’s village is situated in the famous Grk wine vineyards. Enjoy your afternoon relaxing on the many sandy beaches or head to the vineyards for wine tasting.
After a free sailing day, reunite with the Mljet flotilla fleet at the relaxed seaside village of Okuklje, located on the northern shores of Mljet. From there, sail past the Elaphiti Islands on your way back to base in Dubrovnik.
In a flotilla, up to twelve yachts can travel together. Sailors have the 24/7 assistance of a lead crew with skipper, engineer and host to organise all the on-land excursions.
The price for this one-design Mljet flotilla is from AU$2,554 for a Sunsail 36i three cabin monohull yacht (sleeps up eight people). This includes a fully equipped cruising yacht for the duration of your holiday including all sailing, navigation and safety equipment, linen including bath and tea towels, snorkelling equipment, a full cylinder of cooking gas and a full tank of water, one tank of yacht fuel, yacht cleaning, Yacht Damage Waive and 24 hour support of the Sunsail lead crew.
