Interest in the first ITB China 2017, taking place from 10-12 May in Shanghai is very high. Early committed exhibitors who register before the deadline of 30 September will still benefit from anSummer Special discount of ten per cent on their stand rental fees.
One of the early committed exhibitors is Visit Finland: “China is one of our main focus markets and we are looking forward to ITB China to meet old and new partners to sell Finland together with us. We have great expectations of this new business event”, says Heli Mende, Head of Global Sales Promotion at Visit Finland.
To optimize registration processes and pre show preparations for all its attendees, ITB China has recently relaunched its website (www.itb-china.com). The new design has been optimised for tablet computers and smartphone displays. It provides a continuously updated database to inform about the show and eases pre show preparations.
The website now also provides the possibility of a complete online registration for all ITB China attendees: Exhibitors, delegates and buyers equally. All online-registration functions are in addition fully embedded in ITB China’s official WeChat account (Wechat ID: ITBC), a widely used social media channel in China.
“ITB China is designed as the B2B platform interconnecting the Chinese with the international travel industries. Fully leveraging widely used channels in China such as WeChat therefore is one of our core activities just as it is for destinations, travel service and travel technology provider offering their products and services at ITB China”, says David Axiotis, General Manager of ITB China.
ITB China will take place from 10 to 12 May 2017 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Conference Center. The event, an international offshoot of one of Messe Berlin’s most successful trade fairs, will take place annually and focus on the Chinese travel industry. Its co-organiser is TravelDaily China, a leading online news portal and organiser of travel industry conferences in Asia’s largest country.
