New Caledonia Tourism is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Caldwell as Business Development Manager – MICE, Australia. Effective immediately, Jackie will oversee the growth of the destination’s MICE business within the Australian market.

Jackie steps into the role with more than 30 years’ experience in the business events industry in Australia. She commenced her career as a Conference and Event Coordinator in Sydney with internationally renowned PCO, ICMS Australasia, before taking on high profile roles such as Manager of the Melbourne Ambassadors Program for the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and Business Development Director AU/NZ for the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau.

“We are excited to welcome Jackie to the New Caledonia Tourism team in Australia, particularly at a time when the business events industry and offering in New Caledonia continues to grow,” said Margot Deltour, Director of New Caledonia Tourism in Australia. “Jackie’s expertise will be integral over the next six months in particular, during which time our business events strategy includes the revamp of New Caledonia’s MICE website, increased incentive offers for groups, the launch of a dedicated B2B advertising campaign targeting MICE professionals, famils and more.”
