JAL Serves “Shiseido Parlour for Resort” on Honolulu Routes

Japan Airlines, Co., Ltd. (JAL) and Shiseido Parlour Co., Ltd. (Shiseido Parlour) have reached an agreement to serve “Shiseido Parlour for Resort” on Honolulu flights from Tokyo (Narita), Nagoya (Chubu) and Osaka (Kansai) for Premium Economy Class and Economy Class starting September 1, 2016.

Shiseido Parlour was founded in 1902 as Japan’s first soda fountain, producing and selling soda drinks and ice cream. It opened a Japanese-style western cuisine (yoshoku) restaurant in 1928, which has been loved by all age groups for generations.

“Shiseido Parlour for Resort” autumn menu from September consists of Shiseido Parlour’s signature dish which goes well with rice, beef stew, bacon quiche as a side dish and potato salad. For dessert, a special pineapple-flavored cheesecake will be served, an exclusive flavor of Shiseido Parlour’s popular cheesecake made only for “Shiseido Parlour for Resort.”

Applicable Routes:          Flights from Narita, Chubu, and Kansai airports bound for Honolulu*

                                         *Except flights from Haneda which serve morning menu.

The winter menu will also be based on traditional dishes from Shiseido Parlour’s menu, such as “Rice Omelet” filled with chicken rice, served since the founding of the restaurant, and a specially made “Potato Salad.”
