JBL unveils Playlist speaker with Google Home & Chromecast Capability

Leading global audio brandJBL, will release its newest wireless home speaker, the JBL Playlist, to the Australian market in early August. JBL Playlist boasts a wide range of connectivity and streaming options, including 3.5mm input and Bluetooth support, but the biggest news is its compatibility with Google Home smart assistant.

Simply add the JBL Playlist as a connected speaker on Google Home, individually or as part of a group, and you’ll be able to use voice commands to stream music to the speaker. For listening throughout the home, connect multiple JBL Playlist speakers with the Google Home app.

Through the built-in Chromecast, audiophiles can seamlessly listen to music on the JBL Playlist by simply tapping the cast button from a favourite music service on their smartphone without any interruptions from phone calls or text messages. The speaker’s ability to connect to multiple devices at one time gives everyone in the home a chance to play DJ.
