Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in Fiji Debuts 2017 Bucket List Package

Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Fiji, one of the most renowned vacation destinations in the South Pacific, unveiled the 2017 Bucket List Package, an inclusive, experiential travel offering focused on learning, exploration, and deep immersion into Fijian culture.  With this one-of-a-kind package, guests will enjoy an adventure-packed vacation filled with snorkeling and scuba diving lessons, beachside yoga classes, a private island excursion, a rainforest hike and more.

The 2017 Bucket List Package provides seven night’s accommodations in individual oceanfront bures, scuba diving lessons for an open-water certification, plus three single tank dives per adult, boat snorkeling trips led by resident marine biologist, Johnny Singh, beachside yoga classes, non-motorized water sports,  a private half-day pristine rainforest and waterfall adventure, an intimate lantern-lit pier dinner, an escape to a nearby private island with a gourmet picnic, and a Koko Rapture Organic Cacao Wrap Bula Mai Massage.  All al la carte meals, afternoon tea, and non-alcoholic beverages, WI -FI are included, as well as ground transfers.

The resort’s expert staff and dive capabilities provide an unparalleled experience suitable for both beginners and expert divers.  Guests will be led through the wonders of the local marine ecosystem as they explore newly identified dive sites, such as the coral heads of Namena and the walls and canyons of Shark Alley.  Guests can also become certified to dive in just three days.  Singh additionally leads land excursions, including guided rainforest hikes and an educational medicinal walk, empowering guests with the knowledge of the local plant life and their positive effects on the body.  This unique tour of the lush vegetation at the resort is complementary and introduces 24 specimens of flora that provide a natural cure for a multitude of ailments.

The 2017 Bucket List Package is offered at US$9,020 for two adults or two adults and two children under 13 years of age.  The deal is valid for travel April 1 – June 23, July 16 – September 15 and October 8 – December 20, 2017.  A maximum of two children under 13 years old sharing a bure with two adults receive  complimentary meals, bottled non-alcoholic beverages, and activities, as well as receiving access to the resort’s award-winning kids club, the Bula Club, from8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. each day.  Young travelers will also be paired with one Fijian buddy for a maximum of five kids between the ages of six to 12 years old.  Additionally, an exclusive nanny is available daily from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. for each child under six years of age, as well as one dedicated nanny per bure from6:30  – 9:00 p.m.  Teenagers will have a dedicated activities staff member from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  The package will be offered to North America travelers only.  For more information, and/or to book the 2017 Bucket List package, please contact reservations office on 800 246 3454 or
