Jet Airways Celebrates Singapore’s National Day With Regional Delicacies On Flights From Singapore To India

Jet Airways, India’s full service, premier international airline, will offer a variety of special cuisine on international flights from Singapore to destinations in India to commemorate the National Day of Singapore, on August 09. Guests travelling in First, Premiere and Economy from Singapore to New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai – can savour the special menu, created by celebrity Chef Eric Teo.

With over three decades of experience, Chef Eric Teo is highly regarded in the Singapore F&B industry, having held several senior positions. He also consults SATS – the chief ground-handling and in-flight catering service provider at Singapore Changi Airport.

On this special day for all Singaporeans, Jet Airways has made elaborate plans to offer unique and delectable preparations such as Braised 3 Cup Chicken Rouladewith Hong Kong Kai Lan and Chicken Rice in First Class and Premiere. Guests in Economy can savour Stir Fry Tom Yum Chicken with Straw Mushroom and Coconut Rice. The mouthwatering dishes combined with Tom Yum: Thailand – a type of hot and sour Thai soup – will satiate the appetite of guests, providing an exclusive onboard experience.

With over 1.7 million passengers travelling between Singapore and India during January to May 2017, air traffic between the two countries has been growing rapidly, boosted by strengthening economic ties and increasing tourist arrivals.
