Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, today announced the introduction of a second daily direct frequency from India’s business capital Mumbai to Singapore.

This new service effective November 1st, 2013 on a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft will complement the night flight currently in operation, on the popular and high demand Mumbai-Singapore route. The new frequency into Singapore will also make Jet Airways the only Indian carrier to operate six daily direct flights connecting Singapore with Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai.

This will offer guests a convenient flight out of Mumbai providing seamless connections from Singapore to multiple destinations within Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with Jet Airways code share and interline partners. The additional flight will complement the daily late evening departure Airbus A330 flight being operated between the two destinations by Jet Airways.

With this new service, Jet Airways will become the only Indian carrier to offer two services daily from each of the metros – Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.

Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways said “Jet Airways is happy to introduce a second frequency on the high density Mumbai-Singapore route following an increased demand due to tourist and business traffic. With the introduction of this additional flight, we aim to provide our guests seamless connectivity to points across Asia, Australia and New Zealand from Singapore. The new flight would also help in connecting our guests flying into Mumbai from Jet Airways’ extended network to Singapore and beyond. Jet Airways has established itself as a prestigious brand on account of the warmth of its service and quality of its in-flight product and we are confident that this new service would also prove equally popular with its guests.”
