Jetstar Asia increases services to four cities to usher in the Year of the Rooster

Jetstar Asia will be adding 23 services between Singapore and four popular destinations – Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Shantou and Haikou – to meet the increased travel demand over Lunar New Year holidays in 2017. These flights will operate in addition to the airline’s regular scheduled services from 25 January to 5 February 2017. http://www.tourismthailand.org/landing/landing_en.html

The expanded schedule will see the following services added over the course of the period:

  • eight services between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur
  • seven services between Singapore and Penang
  • three services between Singapore and *Shantou
  • five services between Singapore and *Haikou

Countries in Asia will traditionally mark Lunar New Year with public holidays, which fall on 28 and 29 January, Saturday and Sunday respectively on 2017.
