aJohn Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Elisabeth Rohm, Alana Hadid, Angelique Rivera, Brett Davern, Carson Dean, Griffin Freeman, Heather McDonald, Jillian Rose Reed, Liza Koshy, Marty Shannon, and Norman Towns were among Hollywood’s elite who celebrated The Tuck Room Tavern Grand Opening in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The Tuck Room Tavern, Sherry Yard’s highly anticipated new culinary foray, is a jovial neighborhood dining + drinking den serving craveable American fare and a touch of whimsy within a lively atmosphere. Under the culinary direction of SVP of Culinary Brand Development and three-time James Beard Award winner chef Sherry Yard and Corporate Sommelier/Executive Bartender Adam Seger, guests can enjoy an extensive menu and handcrafted cocktails that present a liquid love letter to Los Angeles.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen stopped by The Tuck Room Tavern to meet friends and chat with Sherry Yard. Dressed up for a date night with her husband, Teigen looked stunning in a white, sculpted dress with a square neckline.

Brett Davern paused his conversation with “Awkward” co-star Jillian Rose Reed repeatedly to devour the beloved Spiced + Sweet Pork Belly Wraps. Davern also spent time mingling with Sherry Yard and posed for a caricature to take home as a souvenir of his evening.

Elisabeth Rohm, in a sleek black dress with sexy cutouts, enjoyed The Tuck Room Tavern’s outdoor patio while she chatted with friends and sipped on an incredible Adam Seger Golden Age of Hollywood-inspired cocktail creation.


Norman Towns made his way to the bar where Adam Seger specially prepared one of The Tuck Room Tavern’s signature cocktails, the Norma Jean (vodka-spiked California strawberry lemonade). Ice DJs were on hand fashioning custom cocktails with ice carved from a 45-pound block, an exclusive offering at The Tuck Room Tavern.

The restaurant features stunning works by Mike Stilkey, an American artist based in LA renowned for his book sculpture art. Giving books a second life, Stilkey is the only artist in the world to hand paint donated or discarded library books that would otherwise not be able to be recycled to use as his canvas. Stilkey was on-site to personally showcase his stunning oversized book sculpture art and murals.

Guests enjoyed handcrafted signature cocktails from Adam Seger as well as delectable passed hors d’oeuvres from Sherry Yard. The menu featured Mac & Cheese “Fries,” Reuben Croquettes, and Brioche-Crusted Crab Cakes, amongst others.

One of Seger’s specialty cocktail creations, The Heisenberg, is created by pouring tequila through a three-tiered spirit diffusion system containing cherries, nectarines and peaches—locally sourced from the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market. As if that wasn’t enough to draw the crowd’s attention, Seger rings a bell while pouring liquid nitrogen through the system to finalize the Breaking Bad inspired cocktail.
