K-FEST Sydney 2015 is about to hit Palm Grove, Darling Harbour this weekend with a major theatre group from Korea, the ‘Original Drawing Show’ being the major highlight of the event. They are set to perform three times on Saturday and Sunday and it’s FREE. The festival will highlight all things Korean – K-Food, K-Pop, K-Spirit, K-Style and K-Place and the main stage will be alive with performances daily from 12noon-4pm.
There will be three live performances both days by ‘The Original Drawing Show’ from Korea as well as K-Pop performances from girl group Sweety J from the JK M Academy Dance Studio.
The highly popular performers of the hit show the ‘Original Drawing Show’ will showcase their live drawing sessions on the main stage. They bring the magic of art and performance together with their rapid drawings and instant art transformations. Their high energy performances are a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy an exciting mix of traditional and modern dance and music on the main stage as well as a kimchi making demonstration by popular MasterChef contestant 2012 Amina Elshafei.
There will be children’s games and prizes to be won and hands-on activities like temple lantern making, dressing in traditional Korean costume to take a photo in front of a Korean royal palace scene to share with family and friends and more.
Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy great Korean street food from Sydney’s popular POKLOL and Twist Potato Korean snacks as well as sample the famous Nongshim noodles free of charge. A Dippin Dots ice cream van will also keep the children happy.
Participants in K-FEST Sydney 2015 will also have a chance to WIN A TRIP to Korea for two including return economy airfares courtesy of Asiana Airlines and four night’s accommodation by taking a photo which best captures the essence of K-FEST Sydney 2015. Second prize is a 65″ LG Electronics Television.
