Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces the appointment of Saa’d Al Fawadleh as its new Executive Sous Chef, responsible for planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen. Working together with the Executive Chef and the kitchen team, Saa’d handles the day-to-day operations of the Hotel’s food and beverage outlets, in addition to in-room dining and banqueting events.
Before joining the Amman team, Saa’d was the Sous Chef at Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii and attended task force at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills during that same period. Saa’d has been working in kitchens since 1999, where he started his culinary career right here in Amman. He also worked in the UAE for several years and made his way to the USA where he took on roles as a sous chef, private chef and a banquet Ccef as well as helping a friend open a food truck in New York City until he made his way to Hawaii to settle down with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Commenting on his appointment, Saa’d stated, “I fell in love with cooking at the age of 8 and since then I have enjoyed being challenged and working in a positive team environment. With 16 years of culinary experience from apprentice to a chef-in-charge, I have extensive knowledge in French, American, Italian, Mediterranean, Asian and Indian cuisines. I’m very excited and privileged to be able to share my expertise with the team here in Amman.”
