Jetset Travelworld Group (JTG) has announced key speakers and major highlights for the upcoming 2013 Owners and Managers Conference (15-17 November) and Corporate Conference (14-15 November) which will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Over the course of the three day event, keynote addresses will be delivered by travel industry heavyweights Alan Joyce, CEO and Managing Director at QantasSimon McGrath, COO at Accor Pacific and advertising mogul David Nobay, Creative Chairman at Droga5

Presentations will be given by dynamic and thought-provoking business speakers.  Blythe Rowe, speaker, trainer and author of “Bullies, Blamers, Bludgers”, will discuss how to use leadership to overcome these three toxic behaviours as the biggest issues affecting productivity and profitability in the workplace.  Neil Arrowsmith, who has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands to provide succinct retail fit out solutions, will talk about delivering high impact, high return store design.  As the founder of brand agency, HammondThinking, and the author of three successful books, Simon Hammond will discuss a ‘big picture’ approach to the importance of ‘brand’ and the need to unite behind a common belief to create greatness.  Anders Sorman-Nilsson, founder of Thinque, is a futurist and innovation strategist who guides teams and executives through the changes and challenges of business.

Delegates will not only have access to insights from some of the best business minds but will also have the opportunity to see a first glimpse of a helloworld store.  A walk-through, in-store experience will be in situ at the conference.  Plus, a selection of newly designed helloworld marketing collateral will be available.

Rob Gurney, CEO at JTG, will take to the podium to deliver a company update.  Gurney says the event marks the first time owners, managers and staff from across JTG will congregate as one.

“The united conference will be one of the most significant events in the travel industry in Australia and the largest conference for JTG in its history.  Fitting the scale of this event, the calibre of speakers will be higher than ever before,” says Gurney.

The recently appointed Head of Branded Network, Julie Primmer, and David Padman, Head of Associate Networks, will provide delegates with a full update on helloworld.  The conferences will also feature networking events, a welcome cocktail party and a gala dinner. Separate interactive workshops will take place over the course of the event.

Over 600 agents have already confirmed their attendance at the conference, with a further 200 expected to register.  Registrations are still open, so book now to avoid missing out. Visit: http://omcconference.com.au/ or contact Sandy Osborne atsandy.osborne@jtg.com.au.

“Join us for what will be Jetset Travelworld Group’s largest and most prestigious travel conference yet,” adds Gurney.
