JTG Rebrand – Is this an April Fool’s Day Joke?

Upon seeing the new brand created by Jetset World Travel this morning, the team at travel industry digital marketing and branding agency the Fastrack Group were shocked with the result of a major rebranding exercise.

‘The name is perhaps more aligned to a one off campaign of a telecom provider or even an ill thought morning television show,’ say Fastrack CEO Adrian Caruso.  ‘The idea a company with so many well-respected brands would ditch this for one weak identity, seems bizarre at best. But if I take a step back, I can see how it could be a positive addition to the existing brands the company franchises, reaching a female audience or even for a socially driven travel division,‘ says Mr. Caruso

On a more practical note, for a little fun we’d advise searching ‘hello world’ on Google, as the default first page title when you install many popular content management systems to your website, breaking into these search terms will be a challenge in the first instance for the company. ‘With a number of our clients who are franchisees of JTG, our first impression would be to tell them to look at going independent. Although, we will of course reserve judgement until more information is announced,’ concluded Mr. Caruso
