Jupiters Hotel & Casino has announced two new General Manager appointments to its team
Richard Gush is the newly appointed General Manager Food & Beverage and Ian Brown is the new General Manager Gaming.
Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the new appointments will further strengthen Jupiters’ leadership team at a time of exciting transformation and growth.
“They will both play a pivotal role in our $345 million redevelopment including Jupiters’ new six-star hotel suite tower, scheduled to break ground mid-year, which will feature new restaurants and bars and VIP gaming facilities,” Geoff said.
Mr Gush is well known among hospitality circles, previously as General Manager Food & Beverage at Treasury Casino & Hotel in Brisbane and Director of Beverage at The Star in Sydney.
Overseeing Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s finest dining offerings – the recently opened cuttingedge Japanese restaurant Kiyomi and Italian restaurant Cucina Vivo – will be among Mr Gush’s responsibilities along with providing leadership to Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s large food and beverage team.
“With Richard’s experience delivering The Star’s recent $870 million redevelopment, including extensive pre-opening experience of world-class bars and internationally renowned restaurants, we’re honoured to have Richard join our team,” Geoff said.
Another addition to the Jupiters Hotel & Casino management team is gaming specialist Ian Brown, previously in a similar General Management role at Treasury Casino & Hotel in Brisbane since 2006.
With more than 30 years of gaming and entertainment experience at both Jupiters Hotel & Casino and Treasury Casino & Hotel, Mr Brown has a held a number of positions and began his career as a croupier at Conrad Jupiters Gold Coast in 1985.
“Ian has made a significant contribution at both of our Queensland properties over the past 30 years and his extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of the gaming industry will be an asset to the Jupiters team,” Geoff said.
