Regarded as the definitive superyacht event in Asia, Kata Rocks annual Superyacht Rendezvous is set to return to the luxury resort from 6 to 9 December 2018, drawing on an impressive social program along with some of the most remarkable superyachts on display in Asia.
The incredible success of the 2017 event saw an impressive fleet of 20 superyachts attend, an increase from 10 at the inaugural rendezvous of 2016, establishing the event’s elite status as one of the fastest growing superyacht gatherings of its kind in Southeast Asia, cementing Phuket’s reputation as one of the most prestigious yachting destinations in Thailand.
Designed to bring like-minded people together including Kata Rocks villa owners, superyacht owners and discerning guests with an interest in yachting and luxury lifestyle as well as industry professionals, Kata Rocks is an idyllic destination for the invitation-only, world-class event, with the luxury yachting world beginning the official countdown to the momentous four-daylong rendezvous.
The rendezvous will see the return of some of the world’s most iconic superyacht brands, most respected brokerage houses and prestigious shipyards including Benetti, Burgess, Camper & Nicholsons, Lee Marine, Northrop & Johnson and Royal Huisman amongst others.
Benetti, one of Italy’s most prestigious motor yacht brands known for its fine craftsmanship and refined sense of Italian design along with Hemisphere Monaco, a specialize superyacht consultancy and management agency, will host an exclusive Superyacht Captain’s Dinner as well as a Champagne Media Breakfast.
Featuring a series of bespoke activities, the four-day event will include a welcome reception, an exclusive cocktail party hosted by global leader in luxury yachting experiences Camper & Nicholsons, as well as several private cocktail parties, brunches and elite events on the water.
