Kerry Hotel, Beijing Offers Authentic Turkish Cuisine

Kerry Hotel, Beijing will present an authentic Turkish cuisine at Kerry’s Kitchen from 30 October to 8 November 2015.

Guest Chef Harun Imre and Chef Burak Kayalika are specially flown in all the way from Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, and together with our team of chefs, will be showcasing an extensive spread of Turkish dishes for buffet lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch at the hotel.

Created from centuries of Ottoman heritage, the Turkish cuisine combines the fusion flavors of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisine. Using yoghurt as one of the significant ingredients, guests can savor these colorful culinary delights from robust griddled meats to aromatic rose desserts. Authentic time-honored and entertaining tradition such as Turkish coffee and Turkish Ice Cream Man will also be present for guests’ enjoyment during this promotion.

There is also a special lucky draw where guests who spend a minimum of RMB500 will be eligible for one draw. The grand prize is a trip to Istanbul with airfare for one person and accommodation for two at the luxurious Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul.

During their 10-days sojourn here, the Turkish Chefs will present popular dishes on the buffet such as Doner Kebab (Meat cooked on a Vertical Rotisserie), Lamb Carvings, Bulgur Pilavi (whole wheat pilaf), Home-Made Meatballs, Hünkar Begendi (Rich Lamb Stew with Aubergine Purée), Chicken Topkapi (Spicy Chicken Stew) and Karnıyarık (Eggplant with Minced Stuffing).

For guests with a sweet tooth, the country’s vast range of desserts will certainly end the culinary journey on a high note. The dessert counter offers delightful desserts such as Cezerye (Turkish Confectionery made from Caramelised Fruits and Nuts), Baklava (Sweet Layered Pastry), Keşkül (Almond-based Milk Pudding), Revani (Semolina Sponge Cake) and Turkish Delights (Sweet Rose-flavoured Candy).

Buffet dinner: RMB238+ per person with complimentary access to Adventure Zone

Sunday Buffet Brunch: RMB388+ per person / RMB498+ per person with free flow of champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks and complimentary access to Adventure Zone
