Keynote speaker and opening session speakers announced for Seatrade Europe

Chairman, CLIA Europe and Group Chief Executive Officer, Costa Group and Carnival Asia – has confirmed that he will lead the keynote session of the opening day of Seatrade Europe taking place in Hamburg this 11-13 September. http://www.stevecafeandcuisine.com/He will discuss his views on the significant role Europe’s integrated cruise community is playing in the industry and how it can continue to drive across multiple platforms whilst facing the demands of changing legislation and other global and localised challenges.

Thamm will then be joined on stage by a strong panel of industry personalities that include: Capt. Michael McCarthy, Chairman, Cruise Europe; Wybcke Meier, Chief Executive Officer, TUI Cruises GmbH; Gianni Onorato, CEO, MSC Cruises; Karl J. Pojer, Chief Executive Officer, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises; and Gavin Smith, SVP of International, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

Also participating in the Seatrade Europe conference programme is Figan Ayan, Vice President – Cruise Operation, Galataport Istanbul; Claus Bodker, Director, Cruise Baltic; Luis De Carvalho, CEO, Bermello Ajamil & Partners Europe; Arantxa Garcia, Head of Sustainability, Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services; Mark Ittel, Sr. VP Ports and Maritime, Bermello Ajamil & Partners Europe; Esther Mallach, Partner, Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein; Thomas Mielke, MD, AETHOS Consulting Group with many more speakers to be announced.

As well as the opening session, the following topics will be discussed during the three-day event:
