Following the Khiri Travel Management Forum, October 25-27 in Bangkok, the Khiri Group will increasingly provide strategic support in marketing, finance and planning as well as management training for the teams of its flagship destination management company, Khiri Travel. The forum, hosted by Khiri Group at its new offices in Bangkok, was attended by 20 Khiri Travel managers from across Southeast Asia. The objective of the forum was to nurture and empower teams to create new levels of innovation and leadership.
There were sessions on inspirational leadership, effective management, overcoming bottlenecks, managing growth and boosting business productivity.
“Many of Khiri Travel’s managers are young, creative and ambitious,” said Willem Niemeijer, CEO and founder of Khiri Group. “Khiri Group will therefore increasingly provide resources, training and consulting to empower them to channel that energy into unique travel products and services that are a high standard and meet global needs.”
Niemeijer said Khiri Travel’s Travelife certification in Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam was indicative of the new heights Khiri’s DMCs could achieve.
“That success came about through Khiri Group commitment to the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit being adopted by Khiri Travel,” said Niemeijer.
Khiri Travel is this week meeting with travel industry partners at the World Travel Market in London (booth AS810, Hall S9).
