Water play takes centre stage at Centennial Parklands this summer, plus kids can test their cool when the Australian Wildlife Show brings the creepy and crawly to the Parklands!

Christmas creativity This December Santa’s Workshop is a fully-supervised workshop of cool festive crafts at Centennial Park. Little elves will be introduced to a range of art mediums and natural materials to create gifts parents and grandparents will love.

Wet and wildlife fun Bringing the bush to the city this January, the Australian Wildlife Show will introduce kids to a range of animals from the cute and cuddly to the scaly and scary. And don’t forget that families can visit the Parklands’ very-own nocturnal residents at Spotlight Prowl or 101 camping program Park after Dark.

Princes and princesses of all ages are encouraged to join the King and Queen of Green at their interactive theatre show. The royal court will ‘race to the right bin’ and learn about simple things we can do at home to reduce waste, while having an outdoor adventure!

The ever-popular Kids vs Wild and Bush Rangers activities return with a fantastic water fun theme. Learn to make a water filter, explore our ponds with some dip netting, and complete outdoor challenges while staying cool this summer with the Parklands’ experienced outdoor educators.

Dive into awesome science for kids throughout January with Fizzics Educations’ Wet and Wonderful Science alongside popular favourites Lego Robotics, Gross and Gory, and more.
