Hosted by KK Collection’s owner and founder, George Cooper, the agents from Orbit World Travel, MTA, Aurora Travel, Complete Travel Services, Freedman, Langhorne & James, Mary Rossi Travel and Your Travel and Cruise were treated to daily morning yoga sessions, a boat trip on Koggala Lake and cookery demonstrations.

Highlights of the 7-day itinerary included a visit to Galle Fort where the group participated in a walking tour with a local guide and a bike ride through the rice fields from Kahanda Kanda to sister property KK Beach located on the coast of the Indian Ocean all the while learning about Galle’s unique local culture and history. The group learnt more about the region’s tea production with a visit to Handunugoda Tea Estate.

The visit was part of an initiative by KK Collection to drive awareness and visitation to Galle by familiarising local agents with the diversity of experiences and rich local history and culture this region of Sri Lanka has to offer.
