Korea Tourism Organization Announces ‘To:ur Imagination’ Campaign With the Chance to Win a Vacation to Experience the Beauty of Korea

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) invites you to experience the beauty and culture of Korea as part of its new campaign, ‘To:ur Imagination.’

IMG_8064The campaign is designed to promote the charm of Korea and offers the opportunity to make a trip to the country this fall. KTO plans to select winners through an online event and post video footages of their journey in Korea, to share their experience and attract more people to Korea.

You can enter for your chance to visit Korea at www.tourimagination.comby August 31. Eight winners will be randomly selected to receive a four-day vacation for two this October and November. KTO will also present assorted gifts including autographed CD of BIGBANG, an official honorary ambassador of ‘To:ur Imagination’ campaign.

  • Since last May, KTO has invited celebrities from Thailand, Japan, China and the U.S. with the themes of Korea’s latest trends, drama, and beauty treatments, and offered them trips to enjoy Korea’s diverse appeals they had imagined. Mario Maurer, Thailand’s top actor, experienced Korea’s latest trends in popular fashion and shopping districts such as Heyri, Samcheong-dong, and Garosu-gilYou. You can watch his video online at:

IMG_8173Korea has the flamboyance felt in the enthusiastic Korean culture and delicious food, which made me enjoy wonderful moments”” Mario said. “The shops were unique and there were so many amazing things to buy, like trendy clothes and cool accessories. My vacation to Korea this spring was beyond my imagination.”

Other international celebrities who have recently traveled to Korea include:

  • Kenichi Ebina is a global star from Japan who has won America’s Got Talent 2013 with his creative martial arts and dance performance. During his stay in Korea, he learned Korea’s Taekwondo from Olympic gold medalists at the Taekwondo Center in Muju, and enjoyed the hologram performance of top K-pop artists at Klive, the world’s first hologram concert hall.

  • YouTube make-up and beauty artist Michelle Phan, famous for her DIY style, recently returned from a visit to Korea with her boyfriend, Dominique Anthony Capraro.The couple explored Jejudo Island and other attractions, experiencing Korean’s beauty secret of enhancing the inner and outer beauty, and they captured their trip on video to share Korea’s beauty with Phan’s worldwide followers.
  • China’s rising drama star, Jiang Xin, played the scenes from a hit Korean drama “My Love from the Star” at Jangsado Island’s park and NSeoul Tower where the drama’s main characters, Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun, had dates. She also went to Myeong-dong and experienced fashion and make-up items which Jun Ji-hyun wore in the drama.

As an effect to reflect the needs of the new global consumers, KTO has recently has announced their new brand slogan, ‘Imagine Your Korea’. In this context, KTO has selected one of the most creative Korean star BIGBANG as the honorary ambassador for ‘To:ur Imagination’ campaign, and is running a global TV commercial which BIGBANG was featured in. In addition, KTO will maintain year-round integrated marketing communications by actively using new media such as mobile and social network services.
