Korean Air has launched a direct flight between Busan, Korea, and Da Nang, Vietnam. Korean Air held an event to celebrate the inaugural flight from Busan to Da Nang on 29 October at Da Nang International Airport.

The Busan-Da Nang service will depart once a day, with the 159-seater Boeing 737-900. The Busan-Da Nang flight, KE465, will depart Gimhae International Airport at 09:25 PM, arriving at Da Nang at 12:20 AM the next day. KE466, the return flight, will leave Da Nang at 02:45 AM and arrive at Gimhae at 08:30 AM.

Located on the Southeastern part of South Korea, Busan is the second largest city in the country. The major port city is best known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Da Nang is a major commercial port in Central Vietnam that has become a popular tourist destination among Koreans, with its warm temperatures that average 23 degrees in winter.

Korean Air now operates 12 international flights from Busan, and the Busan-Da Nang route is the second regular service to Southeast Asia, along with the Busan-Bangkok route.
