As Father’s Day is the perfect time to show appreciation to fathers and pamper them for their years of love, the hotel has prepared special menus at its restaurants for all families to enjoy.
On 19 June 2016, Café Kool will feature a Father’s Day brunch and dinner buffet that includes a host of family favourites and international fare. Dishes include Freshly Shucked Oyster, Seafood on Ice with unlimited servings of Maine Lobster (dinner only), Alaskan King Crab Leg (dinner only), Snow Crab Leg, Mantis Shrimp, Blue Mussel, Razor Clam, Whelk, Periwinkle and other crustaceans. Other dishes include Canadian Certified Black Angus Prime OP Rib and a range of grilled meats, such as New Zealand Lamb Rack, Brazilian Pork Leg, Jumbo Quail and many more.
An array of homemade desserts, including Father’s Day Cupcakes, Beer Tiramisu, Lemon Tart with Raspberry Meringue, Pistachio Crème Brûlée, Green Tea Napoleon and many more, will also be available. The buffets will include a complimentary glass of beer, juice or soft drink per person.

With views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline, Lobby Lounge is a place where guests can relax comfortably in a classic and elegant setting with live music throughout the afternoon. On 19 June 2016, a Father’s Day-themed afternoon tea buffet will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. for only HK$368 for adults and HK$308 for children. For every six paying guests, one father will enjoy the buffet for free.
Guests can look forward to a medley of Matcha delights, plus a selection of Sushi; Coffee-Cured Duck Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette; Japanese Green Tea Smoked Beef with Miso-Mustard Dressing; Beef Medallion with Oven Fries; Dim Sums; Double-Boiled Sweetened Soup with Yacon, Papaya and Almonds; Freshly Baked Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce; Cigars with Gianduja Pipe; Strawberry Coffee Cheesecake; Father’s Day Cupcakes and many other cold and hot items and a variety of desserts.
Between 18 and 19 June 2016, Executive Chinese Chef Mok Kit Keung at Michelin two-starred Shang Palace will prepare a range of Father’s Day-themed dim sums to show filial piety to all fathers. Specialties include Lobster and Matsutake Mushroom Dumpling served in Supreme Broth, Baked Abalone Puff with Black Caviar, Steamed Pacific Clam Dumplings with Green Asparagus and White Peppercorn, Pan-Fried Minced Wagyu and Assorted Vegetables Buns, Steamed Rice Flour Rolls with Shrimp Paste and Crispy Pumpkin Spring Rolls and Deep-Fried Shrimp Dumplings served in Supreme Broth. Specially designed nine-course lunch and dinner menus featuring Cantonese delicacies and priced at HK$4,388 for 4 persons and HK$14,380 for 12 persons, respectively, will also be on offer. Renowned for serving traditional Kaiseki, Chef Kojima and his team have created a special Father’s Day set menu. Available on 19 June 2016, the Father’s Day Kaiseki set lunch and dinner are priced at only HK$450 per person and HK$980 per person, respectively. For the menus, please refer to Appendix II.
Déli Kool’s Executive Pastry Chef, Thomas Broger, will add a sweet touch to the happy occasion with his special concoctions, including the Dark Chocolate Cake, Shirt Hazelnut Cake and Raspberry Mousse Cake.
