Café Kool

On 14 May 2017, Café Kool features Mother’s Day brunch and dinner buffets that include a host of family favourites and international fare.  Guests can enjoy such dishes as Freshly Shucked French Oyster, Roasted Rib Eye Beef, Salt-Crusted Baked Norwegian Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce, Rose-Flavoured Egg Custard, Stewed Bamboo Pith with                  Bird’s Nest Agar-Agar and Yunnan Ham, Scrambled Egg with Crab Meat and Chives, Bird’s Nest with Crab Meat Congee and more.

Sweet creations include Double-Boiled Bird’s Nest with Papaya and Snow Fungus, Raspberry Mousse Heart, Chocolate Hearts with Milk Truffle Mousse, Warm Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Sauce.

Shang Palace

Between 13 and 14 May 2017, Executive Chinese Chef Mok Kit Keung at Michelin                 two-starred Shang Palace will prepare a range of Mother’s Day-themed set lunch and dinner menus to show filial piety to all mothers.

Featuring premium Cantonese delicacies, the specially designed six-course lunch and seven-course dinner menus are priced at HK$498 and HK$1,288 per person respectively. Menu highlights include Abalone and Dried Seafood Dumpling served in Supreme Broth; Wok-Fried Cod Fillets, Seasonal Vegetable and Lily Bulb with Preserved Olive Sauce; Braised E-Fu Noodles with Wild Mushroom and Black Truffle Paste; Deep-Fried Stuffed Crab Shell; Double-Boiled Chicken Broth with Matsutake Mushroom, Fish Maw and Bamboo Figures; Braised Whole Abalone and Goose Web in Abalone Sauce and many more.  Please refer to Appendixes I and II for details.


Renowned for serving traditional kaiseki, Nadaman offers a special Mother’s Day set menu created by its new chef, Chef Tsuji, and his team.  Available on 14 May 2017, the Mother’s Day Kaiseki set dinner is priced at HK$1,080 per person.  Menu highlights include Tea Pot Soup with Prawn, Hamaguri Clam, Bamboo Shoots and Mizuba Leaves; Seasonal Katsuo Bonito Salad with Ponzu Jelly Dressing; Grilled Marinated Silver Cod Fillet with Miso Paste; US Beef Steak Teppanyaki with Seasonal Vegetables; and more.  The menu is provided in Appendix III.

Lobby Lounge

With views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline, Lobby Lounge is a place where guests can relax comfortably in a classic and elegant setting with live music throughout the afternoon.  Between 13 and 14 May 2017, a Mother’s Day-themed afternoon tea buffet will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. at only HK$368 for adults and HK$288 for children.

Guests can look forward to a selection of Sushi and California Rolls, Smoke Duck Breast with Caramelised Pineapple, Prosciutto and Carrot Bundles, Pan-Fried Mini Capsicum Stuffed with Minced Seafood, Buffalo Wings with Apple and Celeriac Slaw,  Medium Prawns in Calvados Butter Sauce, Pistachio Crème Brûlée, Rose and Mango Mousse Cake, a chocolate fountain and many other cold and hot items, plus a variety of desserts.

Déli Kool

Déli Kool’s new executive pastry chef, Wins Hung, will add a sweet touch to the happy occasion with his special heart-shaped cakes, including Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake, White Chocolate Passion Fruit Cake, Strawberry Mille-Feuille and Double Heart Raspberry Mousse Cake.  Other French pastries like Macaroon Box, Raspberry Crispy Heart, selected cupcakes and Strawberry Jam Heart Cookies will also be on offer between 8 and 14 May 2017 to surprise the taste buds of every mother.  Please call (852) 2733 8757 to place an order.
