xmas zentangle lFrom 1 to 28 November 2014, for every cash donation of HK$50 or more, donors will be given a Zentangle tile to draw their own preferred repetitive patterns according to Fina’s guidelines. When all tiles are completed and assembled on 5 December 2014, the largest collaborative Zentangle-inspired art piece in the world will be born in the hotel lobby, revealing the BIG theme hidden within it.

This enormous creation measuring 4.3 metres tall and 5.6 metres wide is believed to be the world’s largest Zentangle-inspired art piece with 3,024 Zentangle tiles and will be created for a good cause to contribute to the community in a most merry and creative way. In addition to the proceeds collected through the Zentangle tiles, the art piece will be sectioned and auctioned off later or on the spot to raise more funds. All proceeds will go to OSC’s 20 beneficiaries in Hong Kong to help children, elderly and mentally or physically challenged people.

Individual, corporate, school and association donors are welcome to take part in this powerful, meaningful charity initiative and to carve out a beautiful piece of art together. Each donor will be given a certificate of participation issued by the hotel as a token of appreciation. The art piece will be on display in the hotel lobby until 24 December 2014.
