This April, Chef Cheung whips up a special menu featuring Austrian mud crab.                  The variety of amazing cooking ways brings out the delicate meat and distinct meat flavour of the in-season ingredients for the guests’ enjoyment.  The monthly special à la carte menu includes Sautéed Australian Mud Crab in “Shelter Style”, Boiled Congee with Australian Mud Crab, Steamed Flat Noodles with Australian Mud Crab and Minced Duo Garlic, Simmered Australian Mud Crab Meat with Shrimp Roe and Glass Vermicelli in a Clay Pot and Sautéed Australian Mud Crab with Curry Sauce served in a Clay Pot with Deep-Fried Buns, just to name a few.

The Hottest Temptations at Shang Palace

Renowned for its rich flavour and the use of chilli and spices, Sichuan cuisine is always on the sought-after list.  This April, Chef Cheung works his magic with the unique flavour of Sichuan pepper to awaken every discerning palate.  The menu highlights include Poached Mandarin Fish with Sichuan Pepper Sauce, Sautéed Chicken with Dried Chilli, Steamed Spotted Garoupa Fillet with Chives and Fresh Sichuan Pepper, Double-Stewed Sliced Ibérico Pork Belly in Sichuan Style, Stewed Sea Cucumber in Sichuan Style and many more.  These dishes are available now till 30 April 2018.

Modern Japanese Delights at Nadaman

Throughout April, Nadaman presents a special menu inspired by Applause, a restaurant from the Nadaman group featuring modern Kaiseki.  Menu highlights include Flamed Seasonal Katsuo Bonito Fish with Ponzu Jelly and Spring Roll Salad, Chef’s Signature Maguro Tuna and Avocado with Wasabi Soy Sauce, Chef Special Zuwai Crab Risotto with Mozzarella Cheese, Hokkaido Sea Urchin Fried Rice with Black Truffle, and Chilled Zuwai Snow Crab Cappellini with Tomato and Dashi Jelly, to name a few.

Best of Venice at Angelini

From 9 April to 7 May 2018, guests are invited to eat like a local Venetian at Angelini and relish the authentic taste of this Italian city, which is well-known for the great variety and refinedness of its cuisine.  The menu highlights include Pan-Fried Duck Liver, Beetroot and Cassis Sauce; Home-Made Ravioli filled with Ragusano Cheese, Sage and Italian Black Winter Truffle; Stewed Veal Cheek, Jerusalem Artichokes, Purple Potato Purée and Chips; A selection of organic cheeses; and Creamy Chocolate, Cardamom and Italian Melon in “Ice Granita” Style.

Montevertine Wine Dinner at Angelini

On 25 April 2018, guests can indulge in the iconic Montevertine Le Pergole Torte wines and savour the rich tradition handed down by generations of celebrated winemakers.  The five-course wine dinner featuring premium Italian gourmet delights includes Pan-Fried Duck Liver and Beetroot served with Cassis Sauce; Home-Made Ravioli filled Ragusano Cheese, Sage and Italian Black Winter Truffle; Stewed Veal Cheek, Jerusalem Artichokes, Purple Potato Purée and Chips; a selection of organic cheeses; and Creamy Chocolate, Cardamom and Italian Melon in “Ice Granita” Style.  It is priced at HK$1,500 per person only.

 Hanwoo Feast at Café Kool

Between 3 April and 31 May 2018, Hanwoo is taking Café Kool by storm.  The well-marbled Korean beef is among the most sought-after gourmet foods in the world.  Guests can experience this prized delight straight from the live buffet kitchens, along with a range of authentic Korean delicacies that include Grilled Sliced Korean Beef on Pink Rock Salt with Wasabi Mayonnaise (dinner only), Rolled Lettuce with Grilled Sliced Korean Beef (dinner only), Grilled Korean Beef Skewer (dinner only), Stir-Fried Shredded Korean Beef with Chilli and Onion, Deep-Fried Chicken with Chilli Paste, Korean Rice Cake with Vegetable, and many more.
