Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong offers diners a host of new tempting offers and special culinary experiences at Café Kool, Shang Palace, Nadaman and Déli Kool.

 Seafood Galore at Café Kool

Café Kool brings over 35 fresh seafood delicacies from around the world to the dinner buffet tables from Monday through Thursday from now to 23 July 2015.

Apart from a medley of cold seafood, including lobsters, mantis shrimps, Alaskan king crab legs, New Zealand green lip mussels, razor clams, scallops, abalones and periwinkles, guests can also enjoy a selection of international seafood dishes prepared à la minute at the live kitchens, including Grilled Calamari, Crispy Mantis Shrimp with Salt and Pepper, Wok-Fried Clam with Black Bean Sauce, Lobster Curry Laksa, Mussel with White Wine Sauce and Tandoori Prawn, just to name a few.

Seafood Dinner Buffets are available at the following times and prices:

Monday to Wednesday

6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The Fruits of Summer at Shang Palace

This summer, Executive Chinese Chef Mok Kit Keung indulges guests in an array of fruit-i-licious creations made with juicy longans and red dates at the Michelin two-starred Shang Palace.

Available throughout July 2015, the special à la carte menu includes Double-Boiled Snow Goose Broth with Fresh Longans and Red Dates, Sautéed French Quail Fillet with Red Dates and Lily Bulbs, Steamed Sustainable Giant Garoupa with Red Dates and Tangerine Peel, Stewed Beef Ribs with Fresh Longans and Red Dates, and Double-Boiled Bird’s Nest Broth with Red Dates and Fresh Longans.

 Unagi Eel Delicacies at Nadaman

This July, Chef Kojima and his team bring diners some tasty renditions of unagi (freshwater eel) prepared in a variety of ways at Nadaman.

Menu highlights include Grilled Fresh Eel with Sake, Japanese Egg Omelette with Grilled Eel, Deep-Fried Smoked Eel with Japanese Sansho Pepper, Grilled Eel and Sliced Cucumber with Vinegar Sauce and Nagoya-Style Grilled Eel Rice in a Stone Bowl.

Pineapple and Basil Cake at Déli Kool

From now to 31 July 2015, Executive Pastry Chef Thomas Broger brightens up the hot summer days with a 1-pound Pineapple and Basil Cake priced at HK$300.  Hazelnut Vanilla Cookies are also on offer for HK$85 per 100 grams.

All prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge, except for Déli Kool’s cakes and cookies.
