Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong offers diners a host of special culinary experiences throughout May 2017, with tempting offers available at Shang Palace, Nadaman, Angelini and Café Kool.

Bafun Sea Urchin Specials at Shang Palace

Bafun sea urchin is under the spotlight throughout May. Chef Mok has an eye on the orange hue and creamy taste of this top-quality ingredient directly imported from Hokkaido.  Guests may relish a variety of bafun sea urchin specialties and dim sum, including Deep-Fried Oyster topped with Caviar and Gold Flakes, Baked Alaskan Crab Leg with Sea Urchin Paste, Sautéed Fresh Milk and Egg White with Sea Urchin, Steamed Crystal Rice Flour Rolls with Sea Urchin and Scallop, Steamed Minced Pork Dumplings with Sea Urchin, just to name a few.

Blue Lobster Treats at Nadaman

Throughout May, Nadaman’s new chef – Chef Tsuji – spoils diners with the sweet and flavourful flesh of a royal delicacy – wild blue lobster – delivered fresh from Bretagne, France in sashimi, tempura, teppanyaki dishes.  Menu highlights include Blue Lobster Appetiser with Homemade White Asparagus Tofu, Whole Piece of Blue Lobster Sashimi with Wasabi Soya Sauce, Deep-Fried Live Blue Lobster in Tempura Style, Grilled Whole Piece of Blue Lobster with Special Teriyaki Sauce and Blue Lobster Teppanyaki.

A Treasure of Italian Seas at Angelini

Caught in the crystal-clear water of the Mediterranean Sea, the Sicilian red prawn is the most popular of its species due to its unique juiciness.  Guests can experience the tenderness of its meat, together with a delicious range of creations by Chef Alessandro, at Angelini. The menu highlights include Ginger and Carrot Soup, Red Prawns Tarterm Wine-Marinated Artichoke Salad and White Poppy Seeds; Cauliflower Cream Risotto, Pantelleria Caper Powder, Red Prawns and Reduction Sauce; as well as Ravioli filled with Organic Potatoes and Tropea Red Onions, Pork Jowl, Rosemary, Mazara del Vallo Red Prawns.  These offerings are available from 10 May to 14 June 2017.

Calling Seafood Lovers at Café Kool

Seafood lovers should not miss the Atlantic Seafood Feast at Café Kool.  Guests can try out the cold seafood selection, which includes lobster, snow crab legs and blue mussels, to name a few. The all-you-can-eat selection includes Salmon Dragon Maki Roll, Scallop with Asparagus Salad, Wok-Fried Chilli Crab in Hong Kong Style, Seafood Paella, Baked Salmon Fillet in Sea Salt and many more.  The buffet is available between 8 and 31 May 2017, except 14 May 2017.

Déli Kool introduces a Mango Mousse Cake this May to delight guests with a sweet tooth.
Guests can enjoy the sinfully delicious combination of sweet mousse and fresh mangoes. A 1.5-lb cake is priced at HK$300 only.
